Setting the data science scene
Acme has a local file server for data. Some users save on this server in a folder named by project or customer. Some save on their own laptops and some save in a personal Dropbox account.

Our solution

A Sharepoint instance will be created in the Cloud, using licensing Acme is already paying for, with a permission structure that makes sense to the business and its processes.
Business data from all sources will be copied into the relevant folders in Sharepoint and training provided to all staff on usage and sharing.
Microsoft Teams will be setup for business related communication and collaboration.
Data policies, enforced with Group Policy, will be enabled to prevent unauthorized data leaving the network.
